The final stage. Select the Sponge Tool and apply it on the steel surfaces which are not included in the illumination. Use now the Unshurp Mask filter to increase the picture's precision. Don't try to smooth out the metallic surface, because it will kill all the metal's liveliness, but this way the metal
looks real and live.
I hope that the soldier's appearance turned out well. You may think now of picturing the dragon ;)!

I wouldn't even dare try to draw a human figure like you do, but the tips you give throughout the article are wonderful and I think they could also work for less complicated compositions. I now use Gimp, not Photoshop, but a lot of things still apply and good advice is always valuable. Many-many thanks for a great tutorial!
