Today our tutorial will be about an abstract illustration made using basic PS techniques mixed with PS layer styles.
So start as usual; by creating a new 1000x1000 document and a new layer.
Now, using Pen Tool (P) create a curved area.
Make a selection by pressing ALT+click on the path in the
path box.
when the selection is done, create a new layer.
Further it for smoother border blending and fill the selection with Rounded gradient like so.
As result we get this.
