Atlantic DEEPrees - Illustration of some king of sea base
In this tutorial we will make and illustration of some king of sea base. Learn how you can reach some effects in Photoshop.
Start by creating a document with 300 DPI resolution.
Then create a new layer to paint on.
I will fill my layer with rock pattern that can be found in Photoshop.
Make several copies of the pattern layer.
I will make some manipulations to my to pattern layer so it wont look so solid and straight lined.
Warp the layer ( ctrl+t and then warp icon)
To create more painted like look use Palette knife filter to warped pattern layer.
Here we have it.
Now create a new layer on the top of all other and fill it with black to white gradient with blending mode is set to color burn. It will give us basic vale and lighting
guide.
Create another layer (layer3)
Make a selection on the left part of the image; overlay it with the same black to white gradient only with blending mode set to overlay. Also warp the layer and rotate it a little bit.
I really wanted to stick this one to some value change or something else, but I will leave this layer, this light for now.
We will use it in a couple of stages.
We will continue our work on the background.
Make a selection on the background.
Copy it to separate layer.
Make it a little bit smaller.
Make 4 or 5 copies of this very layer. And also transform each of them to create different sizes.
Merge these similar layers in one.
Here you can see the area with and without these details.
