Draw a surreal girl. In this tutorial you will learn how to draw a surreal girl.

Welcome in making a speed illustration tutorial. This is actually for tablet users: if you don't have one - well either it will take you 10 times longer, or don't even try, but read it anyway.
So I will create a document and a layer. I will fill the layer with dark green color because white is too shiny to watch. The next good thing is that you can actually is that you can control the contrast of color by changing the opacity of the layer.

Begin to sketch with a basic round rough brush. I usually start from the head.

Then comes the head. I'm doing it without painting the skeleton and I also changed the proper proportions so the head could feel bigger - something like dragon ball z characters.

And I really don't like to paint with contours - but it is very good practice
- gives you form restrains and , well you got
to do it even if you don't like to.

Messed up with the mouse I guess.

Maybe a good thing will be to drop some value - actually I think that in environments firstly, and not only playing with the lights before you get to color things is a very good method.

Line drawing is set to multiply that means that you can create the layer beneath and paint on it leaving all the black (outline) information untouched.

Next step will be the coloring of the character. Here is my palette. I'm sticking to "traditional" skin gamma.
