Let’s take a look at some of the intricate and cool design elements of a magazine.

Hallo and we will create wallpaper for today. And once again we will combine an illustration with graphic design elements.



So let's go then:

I've created 16: 9 aspect ratio document.



I've filled the area with almost absolute black- but this is actually dark grey - you will be able to see it in dark room.



Now choose a brush to work with - this is my brush -I really like it and I think the new Prince of Persia art was painted with something like this brush (download brush ud_brushes.abr).



Begin with chaotic strokes: something like this



Now switch to smudge tool - I think its shortcut -R or crtl or alt R - and apply some smudging to the shape you've made.

Switch to another brush: this time it will be a dot brush something like this:



It has only one on the settings turned on:

Now I really think that there should be something in the shadows.



These are really cool little robots - that hide in the shadows. I spent around 15 minutes on them.







So our part on hand painting and illustration is finished, now let's take some time to make some text work:

First I've started to do something like this:



Composition:



I've changed the design because - I think that this font and colors are more likeable.



I've flipped the image and continued the design from this standing point.







Create a copy of the text layer and use mirror effect (flip horizontally in this case).



And the worn NO - in the O of the bigger flipped on..



Correct the layers - now you can make the picture darker if you want.
