In this tutorial we'll create very shiny summer wallpaper even if it is raining outside right now. So first we'll create some custom brushes. I always do this to
think about the forms I'm going to use. So let's begin shall we?

I have a new monitor right here so let's try something bigger.

I'm picking my Flat brush right here. The opacity is sensitive to stylus pressure here. So I'm just making some shapes. I'm searching here for beautiful curves right now.

This is good so select it and define it as a brush with Edit > Define Brush Preset.

Now when the brush tip is made it is time to set some brush parameters.

For example this brush has Angle jitter set to >Direction and size jitter is set to Rotation.
With these settings this brush will play like this.

Here is small diagram - dot, Round stroke and line.

I've creates 2 brushes - and these are the settings for my other brush, which I will actually use in production.

And here is the diagram how the brush reacts.

Now our pre - period is finished let's pain something. I want to paint background first.
I'm going to use my flat brush and I'm starting with just a mud box.

Through I go on - I'm trying to align the edges - it is now hard when you are working with Flat brush.

Adjusting
the contrast a little bit with saturation add.

Dodging the Highlighted areas with Dodge tool:

And this is a brush already - create a new layer and set its blending mode to overlay.

Changing the tones - I really want to give some cold tones.

Now comes the text part. I really want to use simple font - and my choice is Georgia Font with bold italic combinations.

Some additional foreground elements - this is the same font line - you are everything with motion blur and drop shadow.

Zoomed out view:

Some additional design elements of the Font line:

And remember the brushes - here is a small part where I'm going to decorate the initial concept. So as you can see you not only have to use brushes everywhere but only to decorate things.
