Today we are going to do a decorative painting that can be used as a pattern to something or just a single painting. So let's begin. More brush and digital painting tourniquets will be used in this one.

So create a new document with these dimensions.



Create a new layer (ctrl+n) and fill it with Pattern. See the top cornet. You can fill the document not only with color but with pattern as well.







Here we have it.

I want to use a lot of texture in this one.

Os create another layer and fill it with black to white gradient. I'm doing this to form basic lighting. We won't need a complex one in this drawing.



Change the layer mode to Color Burn.



And here is the gradient I'm using.



I've also want to fill the gradient layer with another pattern using layer styles.

And here it is.



We will paint a figure of some king of an Indian.

Do it on the separate layer.



Choose a proper brush. I will use one of the brushes that imitates dry media.
