Build a striking abstract image composition combining stock elements, gradients, and filter effects into a cohesive professional artwork.

Step 1: Gather and Place Elements

Create 800×600px canvas, black background. Import 2–3 abstract stock images or textures. Scale and rotate each (Ctrl+T). Set blending modes to Screen or Lighten.

Step 2: Gradient Overlays

Add Gradient Map adjustment layer: purple (#2d1b69) to orange (#e85d04). Set to Soft Light 70%. Duplicate and set second to Color at 30%.

Step 3: Filter Effects

Merge visible to new layer. Filter > Distort > Wave (sine, 1 generator, wavelength 50/120). Set result to Overlay 40%.

Step 4: Layer Mask Blending

Add masks to each element layer. Use soft black brush to blend edges seamlessly. Paint white to reveal interesting texture areas.

Step 5: Final Color and Sharpen

Add Vibrance adjustment (+30). Stamp visible layer and apply High Pass filter (Radius 3px) set to Overlay for subtle sharpening.
