Create beautiful out-of-focus bokeh light circles for portrait backgrounds and dreamy photographic compositions.

Step 1: Dark Background

Create 800×600px document. Fill with dark blue-black (#0a0a1a).

Step 2: Bokeh Brush Setup

Soft round brush, 80px. Brush panel: Spacing 100%, Size Jitter 50%, Scattering 300%.

Step 3: Paint Light Circles

Paint white and gold (#ffd700) circles across canvas at varying opacities 20–60%.

Step 4: Gaussian Blur

Merge bokeh layers. Gaussian Blur 15px for soft out-of-focus appearance.

Step 5: Add Subject

Place portrait on top. Use Refine Edge to cut out subject cleanly.

Step 6: Color Harmony

Add Photo Filter warm or cool to match bokeh colors with subject lighting.

Step 7: Depth Enhancement

Paint larger, more blurred bokeh shapes in foreground at 10% opacity.
